Vapor Intrusion / Indoor Air Studies and Mitigation
Groundwater Sciences Corporation (GSC) has helped many clients with vapor intrusion and indoor air quality issues. We are experts in the collection of soil vapor samples as well as indoor air quality samples. Indoor air quality samples are particularly challenging because of the many quality control and quality assurance issues associated with these samples.
GSC is also experienced in collecting samples under extremely challenging technical and public relations circumstances such as from beneath the floor slabs of industrial facilities where chemicals are used and from inside active daycare centers. Mitigation systems have been designed by GSC and installed under our supervision to the satisfaction of the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection (PADEP), the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (NYSDEC) and the New York State Department of Health (NYSDOH).
