This full-time position requires 0 to 3 years of environmental consulting experience and a M.S. in hydrogeology/geology, engineering, or an environmental science-related field. Candidates must have good organizational skills, strong communication and writing skills, be willing to travel, and work both independently and as part of a team. This position requires a minimum of 15 years of experience in environmental consulting with an emphasis on management of remedial investigations and feasibility studies in diverse hydrogeologic settings. M.S. in geology, hydrogeology, or groundwater engineering preferred. The applicant must have prior environmental consulting and project management experience focused on investigation and cleanup of complex solvent-contaminated sites in Pennsylvania and New York; a working knowledge of RCRA Corrective Action, CERCLA, and PA Act 2 regulatory programs; and excellent communication and report writing skills. This position requires a minimum of 15 years of experience in operation, maintenance and monitoring of environmental remediation equipment. Work involves operation of submersible and other specialized pumping systems, sampling of various media (soil, soil vapor, and groundwater), data collection and treatment system operation focused on cleanup of solvent and petroleum contaminated sites in a diversity of hydrogeologic settings throughout the Mid-Atlantic States. Excellent communication skills are required along with prior experience operating and performing maintenance/repairs on soil and groundwater remediation systems.
